The past month of traveling has been everything that the life of a singing minstrel should be. It's been full of good shows, good crowds, good sales and  great visiting. I played in NY, DC, and ME before landing myself back in Toronto for a couple of weeks. For those of you who don't know, I'm headed West again at the end of this month. Please check my SHOWS page to see if i'm headed through your state. I plan to play and live and love in California once again, at least for the fall and winter. As for upcoming projects, those of you who are tired of For Those Who Still Believe In Unicorns and are ready for some new music will be in luck! I'm planning the release of a live CD within the year and am looking forward to sharing all of my newest ditties with you.

Spring is here! I'm back in Toronto and very happy to be here. I've got some new songs ready for recording and am playing a new venue next Tuesday on College street. New is what spring is all about right?

Greetings from Minneapolis Minnesota! I'm on the homestreatch- just one more week on the road and then I head for home. I'm missing Toronto, and will be happy to spend a good month at home. I've had an incredible trip though, met some amazing musicians and people, sold as many cd's as possible, and visited with some of my favorite family and friends. There are currently 3 new live songs posted on my Myspace (www.myspace.com/kristinlagasse) that were recorded at the John St Jam in Saugerties NY. It was a wonderful night and I feel blessed to have been part of it, and especially to have the recordings for my memory bank. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who has come out to hear me, bought a cd, or just kept me company in some random city and state-it's been amazing. And now I head for home!

The next month will be a whirlwind tour from the east coast to the Midwest, please check the "Shows" page for the complete list and information. The past 5 months have been spent in Toronto, New York, California, Vermont, and Maine. I've been writing a lot and recording a bit, and will hopefully have some live versions of the new stuff posted on Myspace soon.

I have made it from one ocean to the another! The ride was smooth, many lessons learned and miles travelled. I'm happy with  my CD and happy to already be selling as many as I am. I've updated my tracklist here at Singingminstrel and am selling some live tracks through Snocap on Myspace. For Those Who Still Believe In Unicorns is being sold in several local music stores here in Maine (Everyday Music in Farmington, and Bullmoose Music in Portland and Waterville), and really will be available on CD Baby soon- I promise!

I am now taking a bit of break, but am also in the process of setting up my upcoming gigs for the next few months, so please check back soon for the updates.

The cd is done! It has been created and will now be passed on to the world! Sadly though, I have yet to see it since I am in Utah and it is in Minnesota. Couple hundred miles and one more time zone to go!

The official debut cd release is tentatively set for July 29th, also my last show in the bay area for a long while. That's right, I'm packing up and heading east. I'm going to miss California, but I can't wait to be out on the road again. I'll be playing a few more gigs in the bay area in the time remianing, please check the Shows page for details.

From April 1st to April 8th, a live recording of Already Gone is available at www.myspace.com/redvicsessions to listen to and download. Located in the heart of the Haight, the Red Vic is a wonderful venue that showcases an amazing amount of local talent. I've been lucky enough to play there several times in the past and will be back on May 18th with Ronnie Cato, Not An Airplane, and Roni Yadao.

Happy Spring! This is the last winter that I plan to be on the west coast- at least for a while. I have officially decided to take my guitar, my car, and hopefully my debut  CD, and head out on the road for a couple years, starting this summer. I'll miss the bay area, but I'll be back..

The recording part of the cd saga will be over in a matter of months, and by this coming summer the possibility of you having the opportunity to hold Kristin Lagasse's debut album in your hands will be a reality!

I can't wait for it to be finished, but I'm hesitant to finish it. I put some rough versions of some of the songs up on my myspace page; www.myspace.com/kristinlagasse. Please check it out and let me know what you think.

I've been writing a lot lately, reflections on my travelings and other random moments, and have also gone back to rework some older songs and even some covers. (K's Choice, Lisa Loeb, Rocky Votalato, Bowling For Soup..!!)

This time of year is always crazy, especially for a preschool teacher, but I do have a couple shows scheduled (see the shows page) so please stop by- before we know it it'll be a new year!

Ok! so, my website has finally been updated! thanks to everyone for your undying patience with my computer illiteracy.

I'm back in the bay area- can't believe that the summer has come and gone and here I am right back where I started, but I had a hell of a trip and was able to spend endless hours writing and recording, not to mention performing.

I'll be playing several shows in the near future with the lovely Robin Galante (www.robingalante.com) who was with me for part of my tour back in June. We've joined forces and are excited to be collaborating  and performing at some great venues together for the first time.

The new music should be up soon, and in the meantime, come on out to hear it in person with coffee in hand! There's really no better way to experience new music is there?
